VISCOUS DAMPER REBUILDING SERVICE

Most bolted or welded cover Dampers can be cost effectively rebuilt to original factory specifications at our U.S. facility. Listed below outlines the service Heavy Duty Components, LLC provides.

 

  • Disassemble damper and clean. 100 % inspect all components for wear or damage.
  • Assess condition of all components and submit technical report to the customer.
  • Machine inertia ring (flywheel) and housing if required, to return components to factory specifications.
  • Rework or replace bearing material
  • Reassemble damper the to original factory specification.
  • Fill damper with exact specification of viscous silicone fluid.
  • Damper is now totally reconditioned and meets all original OEM specifications.
  • In the event the damper cannot be reconditioned, an exchange or new damper will be offered.
